Even images and feelings of weakness come with it. But it is actually very powerful.

What do I mean by that?

When we are in resistance to things as they are. We tend to tense up and come up with all kinds of fears.

The Fear of Pain

So we might end up in a situation of being in fear of suffering. We might be afraid of losing our status, or our safety, or our security. Maybe we are afraid that our wife or boyfriend might break up with us?

This is why meditation and breathing slowly and deeply is so important. So we can let go of these fears. They are illusionary, for two reasons;

Maybe they come true, or they do not.

So let’s look at the first situation;

They come true; your wife or your husband breaks up with you. This actually has happened to me in the past. Given enough time, I’ve come to laugh at these situations.

A break up is not the end of the world and can be laughed at given enough time.

Trust me. When I at first discovered that my girlfriend during the time had cheated on me, I was in tears. I was crying my eyes out. That is almost a decade ago now.

After 3 months or so, I was already laughing at it a little bit. These days? It’s my favorite joke, a story that I am deeply fond of and would not change it for anything.

The second circumstance?

It never happens in the first place. So stressed out for nothing.

If someone is a good partner for you and you’re a great partner for them, things could happen quite naturally. We should spend less time worrying for real, and more time being confident about our attractiveness. We should believe that things will turn out magically for ourselves.

That’s what I’ve heard from people who are older and have lived through their crazy and often insecure younger days. They’ve learned these truths in their own way.

Stay wild.

NOBODY CAN DISAGREE

that artHandel is the cutting edge of the art market right now

Don Aapo de San Miguel

So what are you waiting for? 163 million spent on art EVERY SINGLE DAY - and you are looking at the newest of the new. A dog was considered to be an impure animal by many people back then, when the metaphor was originally conceived of.

What About Jesus?

One of Jesus’ teachings was to forgive your enemies and maybe even to love your enemies. To understand deeply where they are coming from, and be compassionate towards all.

So Shiva walking the dog was a similar teaching and still is. A dog could be considered an enemy.

So why did Shiva love this impure dog and take him or her as a companion? The dog is a beast, they would have said. Not holy. But impure and dirty.

Exactly the point. There is no holy scripture that can make all of life exist in “perfection” as a naive person would consider holy things to be.

This universe is actually a radical existence. The holistic and well-developed psyche understands that the universe is not always as one would hope it to be. It is beyond that. It exists in another dimension and it’s laws are not so.

The laws of the universe are divine in the realest meaning of the word. They are not to be understood if one remains in a state of arrogance towards laws of the world such as gravity. Can you imagine someone being arrogant towards the law of gravity? To think they are above it as an individual self? Yeah, you can see why one might go wrong that way.

Shiva’s Dog As A Metaphor

So Shiva actually in this way, is shown by the metaphor, to love the universe as it is. So he is coming from a higher place - from a place of God-Likeness, or holism. He actually understands himself as a cosmic force. Hence why Shiva is treated as a God. A force of nature, that lives from a state of curiousness, knowledge and mastery.

Just as Jesus said that he is the way to the Father. So it’s all about a greater understanding of Self-Hood and one’s place in the universe.

So Shiva actually loves a dog still, despite it being an imperfect animal. As a cat is too. They are not “holy” in the traditional sense.

But what is the universe if not holy? There is no duality ultimately between holiness and unholiness, the Tantrikas ultimately discovered. All of it is the Goddess.

So all of the Universe is in this view sacred. Even a dog, despite it’s weakness. Shiva thought that dogs are holy too. And I think that’s cool. And Jesus agreed.

Hitler Reacts To Nonduality

funny video about enlightenment and dogma

Don Aapo de San Miguel

The Sonnets to Mahākāla (For Oliver)

the conqueror of death

Don Aapo de San Miguel

Eyes of Fire - They were not the dreamy type, the one that walks with his head in the clouds…

So what happened next?

Something dramatic. Something wonderful. Something interesting. Something holy. Something beautiful. Something sacred. A feat of strength, and a display of skill.

A profound journey through the human experience, from India to Europe and to America. Through the snowy winter and the mountains of Pakistan, from India, all the way to Paris.

This man did something that the world should never forget of — something that should never attempted at home…

They walked from India to Paris and then somehow ended up in America. As the story goes, they did it by walking. Apparently they had no money to book an airplane trip, and they wanted to deliver Peace Tea to the leaders of the nuclear states.

Moscow, Paris, London, and Washington, D.C.

As written on his official website.

In addition to his activism, Kumar has been a significant figure in ecological education. He served as the editor of *Resurgence & Ecologist* magazine for over four decades and co-founded Schumacher College in Devon, England, which focuses on holistic education and sustainability. His work emphasizes "reverential ecology," advocating for a deep respect for nature and the interconnectedness of all life.

So How Does One Walk From the Edge of the World to the Other Side?

It must have been one journey. Personally I’ve done sometimes 20 kilometer walks or so. It was already pretty tough on the feet.

Also, he’s a vegetarian and as he was a Jain Monk as a kid, he has quite likely been vegetarian for all his life. Even during his long pilgrimage, he remained a vegetarian, despite walking through parts of the world that depend on meat.

Defending criticism that his goals are unrealistic, he has said,

Look at what realists have done for us. They have led us to war and climate change, poverty on an unimaginable scale, and wholesale ecological destruction. Half of humanity goes to bed hungry because of all the realistic leaders in the world. I tell people who call me “unrealistic” to show me what their realism has done. Realism is an outdated, overplayed and wholly exaggerated concept.

And yeah, a vegetarian, and he’s at the age of 90 now. A lifelong nuclear disarmament activist, a writer and an activist.

I listened to a little bit of his talk on YouTube earlier. Be sure to send him a message if you resonate with his message. I’m sure he would love to hear from you.

I told him this;

Thank you Satish. Your life is an inspiration, and your story is full of sublime beauty. To an experienced sales pro this could be a sign that they would love to invest in something that is financially valuable - so one could adjust and start researching and delivering stuff on financial abundance. To make one’s newsletter an even better investment than stock market? That takes some savvy.

If they say they love art and culture, you could adjust to that and take that to heart - write about beautiful art, music, shows and cultural phenomena. His whole thing is living a profound life, and I just find that beautiful AF.

So I learned from him among other things to have a journal of dreams and visions — to vision a lot more, and to plan one’s life and get clarity on one’s desires — what kind of career do I want? What kind of impact do I want to make on a daily basis?

So What Dreams Are Best?

So it made me think — what kind of dreams do I now have, as opposed to me when I turned 20? Back when I was 20 I guess I ultimately wanted to be a really great piano player and rich. That’s probably it. Now that I am 30 I am really interested in being a writer. So it has changed, and that’s just cool.

So, what are your dreams? What kind of impact do you want to make today and tomorrow and next week?

To be honest at 20 I would have not dared to imagine that I would own a business as cool as artWeekly is. So I did actually manage to exceed my expectations a little bit, and that is awesome.

What Truly Is Beautiful

That which brings forth a calm joy

Don Aapo de San Miguel

I believe that beautiful doesn’t have to make us anxious. That sorrow doesn’t have to best us — that we can thrive in midst of the storm. That we can be free and happy every single day, without fear. That we can approach life from our Center in which we are in control of our emotions. So we can choose our experience, and live happily ever after.

The True Romance of Life

To me that is God. That is Love of God. To know our truest Self which is free. Free and calm, as if under the effects of a powerful tranquilizer. Our breathing is the portal to that freedom. We can not control the mind by thought alone — we control the mind by affecting our nervous system through calm breathing. It is a homecoming. A deep tranquility, it is in our reach and in our fingertips at all times. We just must remember to breathe and to relax. To let go of worrying and anxiety. We need to learn how to relax again, to take off our socks and let our feet touch the ground and let our minds stop worrying. Stop with the shame and the guilt, the regret and the fear. Just identify the emotion, label it with our language, and let go of it. Sapolsky said that we have to let go of replaying all our mistakes and shame and regret in our heads constantly, it will only cause us chronic stress, which is the number one fatality in 2026.

Chronic Stress is the Enemy of Happiness

To get rid of chronic stress, I have some tips — do something that relaxes you. For example writing or journaling or doing an art project. Forget about trying to earn money — forget about the views of those who criticize you, forget about all outcomes all together. Just let the mind play free, and do something with your hands, for example. Your mileage may wary, but for me doing an art project such as writing something works perfect.

The Master of Emotions

I learned this from Gay Hendricks who has published many books with his wife and his own writing on breathing and creativity and marriage and relationships, and I consider him a real master of his knowledge.

He also thinks there is a difference between ordinary creativity and true creativity — he says that true creativity benefits others and you, whilst ordinary creativity only benefits the person who is receiving the work. That really changed how I think about my own creative effort and why I now charge for my work, too.

The Higher Form of Creativity

So True Creativity is the higher form of it and it is the form of creative energy that benefits the creator of the work as well. Perhaps in the form of financial abundance, perhaps as well in the nature of the work itself — maybe it can be written for the creator him or herself too.

O Sutra Noturno

As minhas explicações

Don Aapo de San Miguel

Bons Sonhos
