I used to have a huge problem. I felt like I had no power over my situation. I realized later that actually society is based on values. These are the rules of society. Breaking them is considered a crime. Nobody is allowed to violate the personal freedom of another being, or treat them with disregard and abuse. Abuse is a crime.
Law is here to help society to thrive. Law exists to keep people safe. So if there is a breach of the integrity and human sense of freedom, it’s a crime to take another human’s freedom away. This is not allowed. Abusing someone’s right to freedom is a crime. There are too many victims of crimes that are “technically” not crimes.
This law is not to be used misleadingly. It is to provide for more freedom to humans and not less. Humans are to live in peace, and our mission is peace. For this we must strive. For this, we must speak the truth. For this, we must act with grace and mercy.
So have mercy, and have grace, and speak the truth. Do not forget love. We must understand that the very essence of law is to keep people safe and also help human economy thrive so people can succeed and have a good journey of life. Law is not to be read literally but it must be understood metaphorically. As a tool to help humanity. That is it’s purpose.
So may we forget revenge. We can be in peace.
