Many cultures don’t actually agree with materialistic view points at all. I think in Asia for example there’s many cultures that don’t agree with us, and I think that it’s just really great they don’t. Because we in the West are actually super wrong as a culture about so many things. Mental illness is one of them. We think that we actually understand mental illness, we have the medicine for it, created by trustworthy professionals who must be experts on it.
But It’s Just A Lie
But it’s just a lie. For example in shamanic cultures if a kid gets what in the West is considered the onset of “schizophrenia” aka going nuts for a while and acting crazy, I’ve heard a story of a shaman taking one of these young men usually as a discipline and ultimately would learn how to become a spiritual guide and a healer of the tribe. Not being injected with a bunch of “medicine” or being sterilized because you have “a genetic illness”. These days with modern marketing and “official” knowledge it’s just possible to mislead millions of people in this way.
The guy who came up with the term “schizophrenia” was a proper Nazi. It was during that time when eugenics was a thing that many humans practiced. Sure there those rebellious humans as there have always been who didn’t take part in it. But it is nothing different from racism.
Psychiatry is still heavily biased from those days and as a long term patient and insider, I think the whole field is full of shit and is heavily skewed towards interests of people with a lot of money and power - those who take advantage of people who believe them because they are wearing doctor coats and are talking about “official” truths.
Some Men Just Want To Watch The World Burn
These people are devils and they will never stop their lies. They are a politburo and a bunch of ideological allies against humanity. No wonder the leaders of this world are so - they do not even care to act nice anymore, because they’ve grown so arrogant.
